This was me and my family‘s first time trying this place out. It definitely exceeded my expectations ! The food was amazing and the team is very friendly . A special thank you to the management! The manager was extremely rude, despotic, and unprofessional. Her behavior made the experience very uncomfortable, and it was clear that even the staff seemed afraid of her.
I do want to highlight that the Asian guy and the gentleman at the entrance with dreadlocks were very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the manager’s attitude overshadowed everything else. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

Poor experience. There were no clean tables available when we arrived, and the dining area was not being maintained. I also overheard the manager, Paradise, yelling at and belittling employees, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional to witness as a customer. Cleanliness and respectful management should be standard. Disappointing visit. Will never go back

Food is always good. Tables are disgusting. Sticky non sense, every single time I go there. I must say the lunch crew is rude and annoying. The tall skinny girl is nothing but rude. No one is forcing you to work that job, if you dont wanna work get out of there. I cant stand people who make money and make the entire world known that they are dreading their opportunity to stack bread. Picture the lifestyle without any money coming in. Your life would SUCK! Corporate needs to land on them and clean this place up too. No way a good restaurant that people go to after the gym for gains at night is so filthy. No restaurant should give gym locker room bathroom vibes. Clean up! Stock up! 2 things PART of the job.

Bad customer service starting from the top. Emailed the CEO, Mr. Brett Schulman on Nov 26, 2025 regarding bad service from the 2 employees, one of which was the manager. Never heard back. It happened a little after 7 pm on Tuesday, Nov 25, 2025. My sister and I placed an order for 2 bowls with brown rice, and the other one had black lentils with chicken on both. It was pretty busy. There was a customer ahead of us in line and the girl working at the counter was very slow. She kept touching and shuffling our bowls several times and almost gave it away to the customer in front of us. She asked my sister what was our order. My sister said 2 bowls with brown rice, chicken and one bowl has lentils. She gave us a dirty look with her eyes got bigger and wider. The girl asked me if that was our order. I then pointed out to her that it was our order with brown rice and black lentils. She asked me again for the 3rd time if that was our order in a loud tone of voice. At this time my sister told the girl to cancel the order and walked out. I then asked to speak to a manager. The manager came out on the side and I explained to her what happened. I could not believe what she told me. She said that I didn't the right to point out the order with my hand while I was speaking to the girl. I then asked her name but she refused. Instead of apologizing to us, the manager got very defensive and argumentative. She was very rude, unprofessional, belligerent, inconsiderate, and very bad attitude. No personality at all. They already lost us as a customer and more to follow. I am posting this on Google, so customers will never dine at this restaurant in San Diego Carmel Mountain location. They don't even deserve a star to be honest, but it is required to give them one star for my review to get posted.
