  The food was good and the host was nice. You choose your table but then have to go up to the front to order and pay for your food but the girl that took the order was helpful and offered refills on our drinks and brought our food to us.

  I’ll never enjoy sloppy joes at home ever again because the sloppy joes here are so freaking good, so is the chicken basket and they have great homemade ranch (it’s important) the staff were also very helpful!

  I had a brisket taco, and the flavor was phenomenal!!!! Nice little pub with around 30 taps with a great selection of beer. The bbq was seriously on point!

  I first ate there almost 20 years ago, it's double the size, has glass rollupgarage doors do you can smell the sweet aroma of the meat smoking and the ocean air at the same time! A nice bar was added. It's now run by the original owners son & his wife. He has a passion for fine smoked meat. I made a special stop out of my way to have their BBQ. I swear it was the best BBQ beef brisket I've ever eaten. I was glad I drove down from Miramar to OB before heading back to PHX!

  BBQ House is one of my favorite restaurants in OB! The food is always 10/10, they always have an above-average beer selection, and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend checking it out!!! I do have ONE gripe with BBQ House though, which many of you will probably find silly... but it's always really bugged me. This is a BARBEQUE restaurant. Which means one thing... very messy hands/face. Because of this, I would really suggest they make these changes, specifically to the bathrooms: 1. Don't have a code on the bathroom doors - I understand being this close to the beach, you want to stop the public/non-customers from using the restaurant bathroom, but our hands are sticky, even after using napkins. It feels gross to have to push those buttons :D 2. Have paper towels in the bathrooms, not crappy electric hand dryers. They barely dry your hands at all, and after diving knuckles deep into some delicious wings or ribs, having something physical to truly dry your hands on would go a long way with sanitation 3. Put mirrors above the sinks! Again, we're eating tons of BBQ here... chances are we're all walking out of there with stuff in our teeth. Let me make sure my smile is looking decent before embarrassing myself to the masses :D Again, I realize these are very trivial complaints for an otherwise amazing restaurant! I just felt ownership/management may hear these and improve upon them. Happy BBQ'ing!
