We arrived at 5:30PM on a Friday without reservation but we got a table shortly. The restaurant is located small strip mall which has limited parking. Service was warm, fast, and efficient. Food: large portion, flavorful, healthy, delicious. Our favorite: the mixed grill lamb chops, chicken, and different kebabs. The garlic sauce compliments the meats well. We can’t get enough of it. Arabic salad was refreshing and light with lemon and extra virgin olive oil dressing.

friends took me here on my visit to carlsbad - absolutely fantastic! the chicken kabobs were so tender and savory, as was the garlic sauce & hummus, and there was so much food i had to take half home - Mike, our server, was impeccable and joyfilled - his recommendations were excellent (one of our party is vegan) and his attention to our dining experience was truly amazing - i wish we could give ten stars for this fabulous place!

I visited this highly-rated restaurant for the first time while in San Diego. Upon arrival, you're asked to scan a QR code at the entrance to access the menu. We followed the process and ordered the most popular items (the mixed grill and the rice with salad). While the food was good, the service was highly unprofessional. Our server was quite aggressive and literally threw our dishes onto the table. I tried to brush it off, thinking he might just be having a bad day, but it definitely set a negative tone. The situation escalated when it came time to pay. The total on the payment machine didn't match the prices I saw on the digital menu. I immediately told the server that I was willing to pay the updated price, but I pointed out that the restaurant should update their digital menu to avoid confusion for other customers. Instead of acknowledging this constructive feedback, the server became visibly annoyed. He acted as if his verbal explanation was enough and dismissed my concerns, refusing to see why accurate pricing information is important. It was incredibly disappointing to be met with such defensiveness rather than a simple apology for the discrepancy. Despite the decent food, I cannot recommend this place due to the unprofessional service and lack of transparency regarding pricing.

I’ve been here 3 times for a work function and all three times had a pretty terrible experience. Their food is greasy and not that good. My wife had a dairy allergy and can’t do meat and they put dairy in everything, even the baba ganush and rice. When we asked if there was anything she could eat, they brought us a plate of cucumbers. Food - bad. Customer service - bad. If you’re a vegetarian or vegan, go somewhere else.

Didn't like ambience or service. Menu prices doesn't justify those. I would choose something else. FYI there is 4% charge on increased food charges. 18% tip if group is big. If you change meat type in any dish it is 2.50$. All the prices would be fine if the service or ambience match it. We got mix grill platter + salad + rice + hummus + bread. I ordered sugar less drink. They forgot it and then eventually brought a sugar drink. Fresh juice was mentioned in the menu for kids , but it was store Juice bottle. Lamp chops are ok. Chicken is ok , salad is ok. Hummus is ok. Overall it didn't feel like high end restaurant, but it costed like one. I would skip it unless you go with big group and share food and keep less expectatios on ambience ir service. It also didn't help when a large group with little kids crying sat next to us.
