  I went there with my friends to try Mediterranean food. And we don't regret that for sure. We tried several plates trying to cover all the the arabic cuisine. The meat is perfectly cooked and all the ingredients taste fresh. A highly recommended place in SD with a great experience.

  Very good food. Ridiculously high prices. The service seems to have gone downhill. We used to pick up from here a lot. Not so much anymore. Just had to wait in the restaurant an extra 25 minutes past their estimated pick up time for them to finish making a chicken shawarma wrap. No apologies from the staff or anything. Just an explanation (after the fact) that they're busy tonight and the kitchen is behind. Would've you know it that when I finally got my wrap it was lukewarm. Oh well. We used to love the place and the food is usually very good, but it's hard to justify spending 50% more than at every other Mediterranean restaurant in the area when the service is so spotty, so we might not be back for awhile.

  Food quality is fifty fifty, it's a fine dining lousy place, it seemed like waitress and hostess were in a bad mood as if they were burned out of work

  We visited Aladdin during a busy lunch hour, and I will say the food came out very quickly, which was impressive given how crowded it was. My husband ordered the chicken shawarma and really enjoyed it—he said it was flavorful and moist, which was a highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, my experience was very different. I ordered the Angus beef gyro, and it arrived cold and dry, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp. I sent it back, and while the second attempt was better in temperature, it came out with tomatoes and onions despite clearly requesting they be left off due to allergies. On the third attempt, they finally got the order correct, but the flavor still didn’t match what I would expect from a gyro—especially since it was recommended by the waiter. After three attempts to get a simple order right, I was surprised there was no effort to make it right—no discount or gesture of goodwill. That was disappointing. Overall, while the service was fast and my husband enjoyed his meal, my experience leaves me unsure if I would be returning.

  We arrived at 5:30PM on a Friday without reservation but we got a table shortly. The restaurant is located small strip mall which has limited parking. Service was warm, fast, and efficient. Food: large portion, flavorful, healthy, delicious. Our favorite: the mixed grill lamb chops, chicken, and different kebabs. The garlic sauce compliments the meats well. We can’t get enough of it. Arabic salad was refreshing and light with lemon and extra virgin olive oil dressing.
