    We are longtime bar regulars at Doppio, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. Our fries were served without truffle. Instead of preparing a fresh order, the same fries were taken back, re-seasoned, and returned to us. That is not an acceptable service standard. A new order was eventually provided, but only after we addressed the issue. More concerning was how management handled the situation. Rather than acknowledging the lapse, the response reframed the interaction in a way that positioned us as the aggressors for raising a legitimate concern. The language used during the interaction was not personal or inappropriate — it addressed the handling of the dish. This was not a “miscommunication,” but a basic hospitality misstep. Several patrons at the bar noticed what occurred and commented that it should have been handled differently. This was a visible service failure, not an escalation on our part. We have consistently supported Doppio and expect professionalism and accountability in return. Being made to feel at fault for addressing a service issue is not the standard we are accustomed to. We hope the restaurant returns to the level of hospitality that made us regulars.

    Went in after the Super Bowl. Pizza was pretty good, and thats saying something being an East Coast Pizza Snob! lol. French Fries were great. Thin and crispy if you like them thst way. Service was a little lacking. Seemed like it was our waitress' first day. They said last seating was 9:30 pm but at that time they told us we can't order anything. After minor complaints they allowed two late people in our party to order a drink. Just should be a little more customer focused, especially on a special event kind of weekend. Inside is nice. Easily found street parking but the town was dead. Not sure how it would be on a busy night.

    Margherita pizza for $10 on Mondays. Doppio Zero pizza, Marochiaro pasta (amazing seafood), Pera salad, Kids: Mickey mouse pizza and Alfredo spaghetti for $10 each. Everything is super tasty!

    We are longtime regulars at Doppio and typically enjoy sitting at the bar, which is why this recent experience was especially disappointing. Our fries were initially served without truffle. Instead of replacing the dish, Maria took the same fries back to the kitchen, added truffle, and returned the same plate. That’s simply not acceptable. After we raised the concern, Umberto handled it professionally and brought out a fresh order — which we appreciated. Unfortunately, this wasn’t an isolated issue. During Super Bowl service, Maria was also rude and did not take accountability for service lapses. This time, when we spoke with Ryan, the General Manager, he characterized the situation as a “miscommunication,” which it was not. There was no ownership taken and no gesture offered to remedy the experience — not even comping the fries. We were also asked if we would prefer a table instead of the bar, which missed the point entirely. We are bar regulars and choose that seating intentionally. Other patrons also noticed the exchange and communicated the same issue with Maria to us. They too noticed the interaction with Ryan and stated how unprofessional it was and he shld have recognized the bad service and comped Something off the table. We continue to come to Doppio because we’ve had many good experiences, but this visit fell short of the hospitality and service we are accustomed to. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and restores the standard that made us regulars in the first place. Greatly disappointed
