  We visited Doppio Zero in San Carlos with a few colleagues after work and had a great experience overall. I ordered a pizza and a salad, and both were very tasty and well prepared. The quality of the food was definitely a highlight. The atmosphere was lively, though it was a bit noisy at times, which made conversation slightly difficult. Still, the friendly vibe and excellent food made up for it. Overall, a very good place for casual dining with coworkers.

  Nice Italian restaurant. It has a beautiful dining area, and nice full bar. Depending on the time of day it can be pleasing and quiet, or busy and noisy. When it is busy the service can lag and you'll be sitting there for awhile. With that said the waiters are nice, and the servers seem like they want to be somewhere else, meaning they are not really engaging. The food is okay, but can be improved. The Lasagna is my go to, and when special menu permits, the lobster ravioli is a succulent treat. All in all it's an okay place to take a date to or even a business meeting.

  In the past we visited this place many times and I even organized the team dinner when my colleague came from Seattle. I have to say the pizza was ok. Today, we made a reservation for 7:15PM. After sitting down at 7:04, for entire 12 minutes, no one came to us to even ask if we want anything to drink. Not sure why but seems they don’t want customers or maybe it’s just too busy. We chose to go to other restaurants eventually.

  We dined here as a large group of 18 and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with something everyone enjoyed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a group gathering, and the service was attentive and well-organized despite our large party. Everything ran smoothly, and we all left very happy. Highly recommended for group dining!

  Beautiful inside and out — this is the kind of place that works for everything from a casual brunch to a fancy romantic dinner. Definitely a spot you can dress up for if you want to. The space is huge, with plenty of indoor seating and a large, dog-friendly outdoor patio. Their squid ink pasta seems to be a favorite here, and I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. I also loved that they offer a nice variety of mocktails for non-alcoholic folks like me. And yes — everything here is super Instagrammable, which is always a bonus. Overall, it’s one of those “can’t go wrong” spots in San Carlos — perfect for all-day meals or even just as a meeting place. I’ll be back for late afternoon small bites next time I’m in the area. Perfect for: anything from brunch with friends to a romantic date night — versatile, stylish, and welcoming.
