No wonder people are making McDonald’s into a career! Because they get payed $21 an hour to screw my order up for a double cheese burger with NO onions, and NO mustard clear as day on the screen in front of you. And some how you come up with just a burger with no mustard and double the normal amount of onions!
You guys should buy the book “Making Burgers For Dummies!” For all your employees!

Somehow McDonald's has it backwards
I've been a customer of this franchise for many years, and of the McDonalds brand since the '70s. I worked at a franchise in high school, and I still remember the "customer rights" for cashier. Back then we made about 15% of the $20 min rate, and compared to what masquerades as customer service today, the management and staff deserve less than I made 40 years ago.
And thanks to the lunacy in requiring a fast-food worker with a high-school education be payed more for unskilled labor vs general State minimum wage, the trend I see now will continue down the rabbit hole. In 2025, "Customer Service" means the customer does all of the front-end work himself, using a video screen menu board about as intuitive (and reliable) as touch-screen computers were in 1988.
After several minutes of frustration bordering on hand-to-hand combat, the fortunate will have entered their orders without requiring the "help" of the staff; otherwise expect to wait for the too-busy-to-help staff surplus hiding behind the milk shake machines to come out wanting to know what your problem is.
Yes, that attitude is what 20 bucks minimum pays for, because that much implies over-importance for menial customer training/service chores. If one is fortunate, their order-entry combat is over and now they wait for the high-value staff to deliver it. Otherwise it's back to the waiting game for help in customer serves us. This process is made harder or miserable depending on how experimenting placing an order with the mobile app was.
After all of this unpaid employment, food delivery times range from 5-10 minutes at busy times to 7-15 minutes during show periods - yes that is backwards as well
Atmosphere is predictable based on which side of the building you choose to sit in: the South-to-East portion is usually clean and cared for, but don't plan on self-service for soft drinks - those are off limits in favor of forcing one to deal with the overly important staff. You won't find as little as a napkin dispenser outside of the staff controlled zone. Now, on the other side of the building, the ubiquitous stretch of overflowing toilet informs the customer they are cold -warm-hot relative to the restrooms. And yes, that stench is probably intentional and permanent, it encourages the customer follow the posted 30 minute maximum loitering rule: wait time for food delivery is not factored in, it's door -to-door time.
This location is doing it's best to overcharge and underserve lobby guests, eventually don't be surprised to see the lobby doors bolted shut in favor of a drive-thru only model.
The biggest asset for hungry people searching for hot, quality food served by friendly and helpful staff would be to choose one of the other restaurants close by: McDonald's appears to be the only one in the area intentionally ignoring customer service.
