- JMJanea MartinJan 31, 20261.0This food truck was hired, a service agreement was signed, and payment was made in advance to provide lunch for a production crew during a scheduled filming. The vendor did NOT show up as agreed. When contacted, gave a bogus excuse and he stated he was unable to issue a refund because his bank account was overdrawn. At the same time the crew was left without food, he was actively vending from his food truck near Lake Merritts Farmers Market and outside his closed storefront, while posting on social media and promoting that he would be serving the public until 8pm This caused major disruption to a professional production and reflects extremely poor business practices. Contracts were not honored, communication was unacceptable, and accountability was lacking. I would not recommend this vendor for ANY event now or in the future.. scammer!
