  I am extremely disappointed with the service at the self-checkout area. An employee named Marcus behaves unprofessionally: he speaks rudely, clearly shows dissatisfaction, and makes customers feel like they are a nuisance. After any interaction with him, there is an unpleasant and discouraging feeling. The situation is made worse by constant technical issues — the internet connection is poor, and payments frequently fail on the first attempt. Instead of receiving prompt assistance, customers are forced to wait for a long time, as this employee consistently has the longest lines. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable for customer service. I ask management to pay attention to the quality of service and take appropriate action. At this point, interactions with this employee leave a very negative impression and significantly damage the overall shopping experience.

  The store is great, it's the deli. Waited for the dude to finish making 2 burritos, over 15 minutes. I was only one in line. Then he left and took those 2 burritos through the self check line. No way was I going to wait for him to come back. He's a terrible person to have at the deli. Saturday, 4/4 at 10:30am

  I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service this store has. I needed ribbon and paper for some flowers I wanted to buy and asked an associate if someone could help me by getting the supplies I needed. Since the floral department offers complimentary wraps for flowers, with no hours of operation on any signs by the way I did not think this would be a problem. I was told the floral department was closed and from past experience of working at Safeway I know the main goal is to always help the customer. I was told they would call someone over and no one was called over. This is very upsetting and I know I would not get this kind of treatment at Trader Joe’s which is where I will be shopping from now on.

  I had the pleasure of working with Afsaneh in the floral department at Safeway, and I can't say enough about her exceptional service. While another staff member was hesitant, unprofessional and made the ordering process overly complicated, Afsaneh stepped in and made everything seamless. With very little instruction, she crafted stunning arrangements for several celebration of life events that exceeded my expectations. Her professionalism and creativity shone through, and it was clear she genuinely cares about her customers and the flower arrangements were beautiful. Ordering and picking up flowers has never been easier, and I always leave satisfied with the beautiful arrangements she creates. Thank you, Afsaneh!
