- JTjustin thomasMar 28, 20261.0I walked in to Safeway today at 6 PM and went back to the meat department to pick up some chicken wings to make for dinner. I sat there for 10 minutes before an associate made a loud page overhead for someone to report to the meat department. I waited there for another five minutes before a second associate came up to me and stated sorry we had a call out. There’s no one there to service you so you cannot get anything from this department. Just something else on why that Safeway has gotten worse over the years I have been going there.

The employee approached my vehicle, informing me that parking in this area is prohibited. He was unaware that I was simply waiting for the store to open, and his behavior was unprofessional. Additionally, he was bobbing his head while wearing earphones, seemingly listening to music that I consider unappealing. I intend to file a report regarding harassment.

The only reason I don't give 5 stars is the getting in and out. No matter how hard they try transient loiter around the doors and parking lot. You get approached going in and out with groceries. As a women if I have to do a night run I make husband go as it can feel a little unsafe.
