Date night at Morton's. Amazingly this was our first visit to Morton's despite living in the area for a long time. Our server Carlos delivered great service, knowing just when to stop by, offering menu insights, even cleaning bread crumbs and thoughtful packaging of leftovers.
The lobster and crab appetizer was fresh and a large portion of seafood paired with a flavorful basil aioli. NY steak ordered medium for my wife was cooked perfectly. Its always a toss-up for getting a medium steak cooked properly. This was perfect. Ora King salmon was Carlos's preferred seafood offering. Ordered medium rare and cooked perfect. I liked the honey glaze, only blemish was slightly bitter broccolini. Creme brule was just right.
Overall we had a great dinner and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

I surprised my girlfriend with a reservation at this restaurant for her birthday, hoping for a special, romantic evening. What unfolded was one of the most disappointing and uncomfortable dining experiences we've ever had.
From the moment we arrived, things felt off. The gentleman at the door immediately asked whose birthday it was. When my girlfriend excitedly told him it was hers, his entire energy shifted. He looked skeptical and made it blatantly obvious that he didn't believe us like we were trying to scam a free dessert or something. It was awkward and rude right from the start.
We were seated, but then we waited over 30 minutes just to even place our order. Our waiter Kevin was nowhere to be found. We had to keep flagging him down for basic things like menus, water refills, or condiment's . Ironically, the water server was far more attentive and helpful than our actual assigned waiter. The whole service felt neglectful and unprofessional.
To make matters worse, I was wearing my Meta AI glasses and documented the entire painful experience every long wait, every ignored request so we could review it properly later. I'll be posting a full food and service review on TikTok soon. I'll let others decide for themselves just how bad it was.
As we were finally leaving, the same doorman smirked and said, "Hey, happy birthday, eh," in the most sarcastic, insincere way possible. It felt like he had intentionally gone out of his way to ruin our night.
Overall, I would never recommend this place. The service was shockingly poor, the staff seemed hostile, and what should have been a celebratory surprise turned into a memorable disaster for all the wrong reasons. Save your time and money go somewhere that actually values its guests.

We visited this restaurant for my birthday dinner and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had.
We spent $300 and were treated like we were invisible. It took 35 minutes just to place our order, and nearly an hour after that for the food to arrive. When we asked our waiter, Kevin, for steak sauce, he disappeared. Ten minutes later, we had to flag down the water server, who actually brought it before Kevin ever returned with it
I've eaten at many high-end restaurants, but this was by far the poorest service I've ever encountered. The food itself was decent, but the service was shockingly bad and completely ruined the evening.
And to the staff member who half-heartedly said "Hey, happy birthday eh..." no, it indeed was not. The sarcastic tone made it feel like he thought I was making it up. Definitely not the birthday celebration I was hoping for. brought it before Kevin ever returned with it

I was so excited to go to dinner at Morton's because of all the hype about Morton's. First off our table was beautiful and they had decorated it a little bit for my best friend's birthday! Everything was going great and than the servers started to bring out the food, one server dumped my husbands French fries, that were suppose to be the best with a special sauce on his lap, plate and a couple fries in his lemonade. She did apologize, and said she will send someone to clean it. My husband was kind and reassured the Server that everything was ok , however, they did not resolve the problem. She did not replace the fries and she did not bring him a new lemonade. Three of us had to send our steaks back because they were not cooked to our liking or how we requested. The au -gratin potatoes were not cooked all the way through and the creamy Corn taste like sour milk looking curled. My cousin ordered a lobster tail to take home to her husband and when she got home it was raw and her husband had to cook it. Our bill was over $2000.00 but was not worthy of that price!!

Wonderful place to meet before the King game! Wait... scratch that. Worst place ever to meet before the Kings game. I don't want it more crowded then it already is.
