Welcome to Far East Cafe! We are a family-run, independent restaurant offering good quality Chinese food at reasonable prices just as the owners before us. Whether you want to come in for lunch or dinner, we believe that a good family atmosphere with good quality food at reasonable prices with good service is what is expected. This is what we strive to achieve each day and we are constantly making strides towards that end. The restaurant has been a fixture in Sacramento since 1961 and has been through many families' hands since. All of these families have poured their hearts and souls into the restaurant and their customers. The new families that took over the restaurant in March 2018 have kept this to heart.

She was in tears the first time we ate here because the flavors and smells were just like her home. She migrated years ago from Hong Kong, but she hasn't found real Hong Kong food until we ate here. For our anniversary, we went here again and the food was fantastic again. We tried different dishes and they were all SO GOOD!!!!! If you want REAL Cantonese food, this place is for you.
