The host at self checkout with black curly hair watched me like a hawk and looked me and my BAGGED items that I PAID for up and down as if I stole something, I was so confused I asked if she wanted to see my receipt because why the hell was she looking at me like that, and I was the only one she was looking at like that, as if there’s not a huge monitor in front of her! Stop profiling people that are honest, i was on the verge of returning all my stuff that’s how upset and uncomfortable i was, i did call corporate because this needs to be addressed, if you are poc i do not recommend this Safeway AT ALL, for the prices without just for U you’re better of going to sprouts or Whole Foods where you’ll at least receive a thank you instead of a dirty suspicious look on your way out!

I went to pay and didnt realize the card machine had already took my payment cause I didnt hear a sound so I kept tapping. She said it got it. I went to look up while I laughed and she was shaking her head no rolling her eyes. I made it aware I seen her do that and under my breath said wow. I got her name she saw me looking at her name tag then proceeded to say have a nice day. Only cause she knew I was getting her name. I know its early but some people still have to wake up. So unprofessional. I dont know if I want to come back to this Safeway. Other than that I disnt get their names there were two people one male one female female had curly hair and man had salt pepper hair, both were really nice and helpful. They both went out of their way to make sure I found what I was looking for. Im truly grateful for them.
