  Had a nice mommy/daughter date on a Monday afternoon after a trip to the museum. We were sat right away to a table near the window over looking the river. Our server, Tray, was very attentive and brought to my attention the item I was ordering was on happy hour. I really appreciated Tray’s care and attention to our table!

  Joe's Crab Shack is the kind of place where the whole meal feels like a party. I stopped in craving seafood and the table quickly filled with messy, buttery crab and shrimp. The vibe is loud, playful, and a little over-the-top, but that’s part of the fun. It’s not fancy—just a lively spot to crack shells and enjoy yourself.

  Yesterday my 11 year old niece and I took an Amtrak train ride from Oakland, CA to Sacramento, CA for lunch. It was my nieces first visit to our Capitol and she was excited. As member of the Laundry program, our expected 1hr wait was decreased to being seated within 6 minutes on the outdoor padio. My niece was ecstatic. We quickly ordered or food and enjoyed the sounds of the 90's. Our server was pleasant and attentive. My niece engaged with the boats passing by. Once our food arrived we ate in silence. EVERYTHING was delicious. I'm rather picky, but I had no complaints. The shrimp, steak and crap legs were perfect! I'm not a fan of vegetables, but the string bean with mixed peppers blend surprisingly disappeared from my plate. My niece even noticed, "You ate your vegetables... you hate vegetables!" 😆 The food was a highlight of our trip.

  Absolutely amazing service from everyone I encountered here especially my server Beto! He as well as 2 other lady's really helped make my brothers birthday a speical day. They were super busy and yet all staff were amazing and helpful and on in and a timly manner considering such a place and the volume I can't wait till another trip lands on here!

  We had a reservation and still waiting a half hour. Then when we were seated took forever for drinks. The after sitting forn1 hr she.came to see if we wanted apps. Everyone said no, I said we are hungry and would like to order our meals. She took a couple drink orders and walked away. Until I asked for the manager did she finally came another hour later to finally take our food order. We got our food couple orders were not completely right. But the.kids were starving so they ate it anyways. After we ate the waitress let us know that because we were a large party (4 separate bills) thY we would be charged 18% each for gratitude. Yes i agree we should be charged automatically however not per ticket 18% on the full amount of out tickets. Which would have been way less. Because honestly being n f a former waitress myself she did t deserve 5% and I have never said that. She was just slow on her followup. It took 15 minutes just to get butter!!
