Welcome to Far East Cafe! We are a family-run, independent restaurant offering good quality Chinese food at reasonable prices just as the owners before us. Whether you want to come in for lunch or dinner, we believe that a good family atmosphere with good quality food at reasonable prices with good service is what is expected. This is what we strive to achieve each day and we are constantly making strides towards that end. The restaurant has been a fixture in Sacramento since 1961 and has been through many families' hands since. All of these families have poured their hearts and souls into the restaurant and their customers. The new families that took over the restaurant in March 2018 have kept this to heart.

The chow mein was a bit dry probably from rewarming it. Not a fan. Overall it was good since the price counters the cons substantially. They have other plates that may be better.
