But I wonder if they even read my review because in my review I stated that I already contacted them online. I think it's ridiculous that for a safety issue like this they can only offer a free Entree with a 30-day expiration. That puts the responsibility on me to use the coupon and go there again within that time frame, and does not compensate for their negligence. They're basically giving me another thing I need to do in order to make it right. Not sure why they can't just offer a refund so that I don't have to put another thing on my to do list. Went to Chipotle yesterday and was disgusted to find a piece of plastic in my food. :/ I reached out to the "Chipotle feedback" URL listed on my receipt and their way of making it right was to give me a coupon that expires in 30 days. This might have been an adequate response, IF there was no expiration. I feel like this is ridiculous - it was their bad, and the best they can do is give me a coupon that expires in 30 days??? If I don't end up going there again in 30 days then I'm SOL I guess. Pretty frustrating- I feel like they should comp the meal or at least give me a coupon that doesn't expire!! Putting an expiration date on it is like a slap in the face. This is probably the last time I will go to Chipotle.
