  Headline: For your slow cooked meets on the Delta! Location: Nothing like a nice hearty meal when you've been wine tasting on the delta and Brody's fits the bill. Located just off of Freeport as you exit the delta, it can be easy to miss with its small parking lot and roadside off a major road but you would be really missing out not to stop by. Be forewarned that their main lot is fairly small but they do have some parking to the left side as well. Ambiance: The main counter is sandwiched between the bar and their seating area which is open first come first serve. While it's unassuming it's all business at the front with staff ready to take your order as you walk in. There is also a seating area that is covered on the right for this time of year. What this place lacks in parking makes up in all the seating areas. The vibe is really road side wood building feeling which I really dig for this location . Service/Food: Service on the restaurant side was great as they take your order up front, give you a number and you find a place to seat. The staff was friendly and attentive and we didn't have any issues. The real deal with this place is the smoked meats. While the brisket isn't the best I have, it still hits the spot. Of course there can be some variability depending on the day in terms of dryness but everything I've had these last couple trips as been satisfying and filling. Don't skip on the corn bread and sauce as well! Despite the parking this place is a great stop after or before a Delta visit. It has been a part of routine when we come out here with family and will continue to be!

  Wow! What a treat the brisket, ribs and chicken smoked to perfection! The beans had excellent flavor. Corn bread with a honey butter and apple coleslaw. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly

  I love the food but the thing that was unsettling was the Mac cheese, it didn't have any flavor and it costed to much for it to be nasty. Everything else was amazing.

  All walks of life come here, it isn't a "local regulars only" type of place. The absolute BEST TRI TIP I have ever had. Cooked perfectly. I also got the waffle fries which were nice and crispy. The vietnamese coffee was authentic and strong which is exactly what I needed for the night. Definitely would come back, no doubt about it. For two people spent just under 70$

  It was the first visit for the four of us. Brisket was available as it was a Saturday, but we opted to try their combo platter to get a good sampling of their food, we ordered extra sides too. The platter is supposed to feed 2 - 4 people and it was more than enough for all of us. Their BBQ sauces are awesome. Sides are all homemade (Mac n Cheese, Potato salad exceptional) We loved it! One of our party was in a wheelchair and he had no issues at all getting through the dining room door to the ample parking in the lot out front. Servers and owner were super friendly and helpful to us. I'll be back.
