  The food here was okay. What was off putting was their salsa (tomato, onions, etc.) I told one of the staff members if was Sour and had an acidic taste to it and said if he had a different batch in the back and he said it should be fine and handed me that same one but I refused. I bought it up to their attention hoping they’d look into it or help me out instead of handing me the same salsa from the same area but oh well. Just fyi if someone said your food quality needs checking you might want to bring it up to your manager of shift super visor

  The older Asian lady that is the manager is very rude and unprofessional. She clearly hates her job and doesn’t care to hide it. We ordered pickup through Uber eats, got the notification that our order was ready to be picked up. When I arrived I told her I was there for pickup and she looked annoyed and asked what the name was on the order. I told her then she told me she didn’t have an order under the name I provided and rudely suggested I ordered at a different location. I pulled out my phone and showed her my order number and that it was at the correct location which is the delta shores location. Instead of apologizing for the mistake and inconvenience she told me to hold on and walked off. After a few minutes I decided to move to a better spot so I can see what she was doing. She completely disregarded my issue and continued to help the drive through customers. After that I just left and canceled my order. I’ve worked in the food business for over 15 years and trust me, you don’t want to eat food from people like this especially if you can’t see them prepare it. Will never come back

  They are spotty and inconsistent depending on the crew working during that shift. Some times are decent, while others have no customer service skills. Long delays, horrible food quality, and other issues are a problem at this location.

  The delta shores location is consistently the best of all el pollo loco locations we've tried. Their Taco Tuesday crunchy tacos are great, even in the air fryer on Wednesday!
