  Christa barista for Starbucks in safeway for the sierra college blvd location made my experience uncomfortable with her short and dismissive customer service making the experience feel like a bother to just order. The manager is very kind at this location so I was bummed out going there and receiving that kind of customer service from a barista

  I’ve had a consistently good experience at Safeway. It’s one of my go-to grocery stores because it’s reliable, clean, and has a really good selection of just about everything I need. The store is always well-organized, which makes shopping quick and easy. I don’t feel like I’m wandering around trying to find things, and the aisles are usually stocked and neat. The produce section especially stands out—everything looks fresh and there’s a nice variety to choose from. I also really like the bakery and deli sections. They always smell amazing when you walk by, and it’s nice being able to grab something quick that still feels fresh and good quality. Whether it’s bread, prepared food, or something sweet, they usually have great options. The staff have always been friendly and helpful in my experience. Checkout is usually smooth, and even when it gets a little busy, the lines tend to move at a reasonable pace. One thing I will say is that prices can be a bit higher compared to some other stores, but using the Safeway app and deals definitely helps offset that. If you take advantage of the discounts, it ends up being worth it for the convenience and quality. Overall, Safeway is a dependable place to shop. It’s clean, well-stocked, and easy to get in and out of, which makes grocery shopping a lot less stressful. I’d definitely recommend it!

  I want to give shout out to Crystal from deli meat department, I requested her to change her gloves for religious reasons and she went above and beyond to give customer service to me. Not only she cleaned the entire meat cutting machine; she opened new chicken since previous one sat on that machine that cut ham. Safeway please retain these kind of employees who not only provide the best customer service but also show respect towards the culture needs of customers. In spite of being alone at the counter on Friday evening, she had smile on her face and the right attitude in her voice. Crystal should be employee of the month!

  Visited the Safeway in Roseville while running errands nearby. I wasn’t planning a big grocery trip, but the store had everything I needed in one place. The bakery section smelled great and the bread selection looked fresh. What I liked most was that the aisles were clean and clearly labeled, so it was easy to find items without wandering around. A reliable grocery store for quick stops.

  Every grocery trip begins with optimism. At the Safeway in Roseville, I entered determined to buy “only essentials.” Ten minutes later my cart contained cheese, fruit, pasta, and a dessert I absolutely did not plan for. The store layout is dangerously effective. Still, the experience was pleasant — clean aisles, helpful staff, and a bakery that clearly understands human weakness.
