  I really thought long and hard about leaving this review. I have been into Flemings now 3 times for social hour. My first experience was wonderful Tiffany was inviting and knowledgeable. The second time I had mixed feelings. The bartender Ashley seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. But everyone has bad days so I came back for a third time Wednesday night the bar was very busy. I was well taken care of however when the same girl Ashley came behind the bar she was talking extremely bad about her boss to the other bartenders. I didn’t think much of it until she told a customer that was sitting near me. She hated her boss. I thought how tasteless! I’m unsure if this girl just hates her job or she is just a negative person. Either way I feel like work problems should be private it makes guests feel uncomfortable. I will return because I did have great service. I just think when there is a bad seed there’s a bad seed. I’m giving 4 stars for the food

  Lunch today, the Butter Ball on the Tenderloin for my specific plate at least was sour, acidic and not flavorful at all. You nailed the meat but failed everything else including the Spinach. I think this place is not very good. They are no competition to Firehouse or Ruth Chris' not even close. Great salad and Bread. I should have wiped the Butter Ball off the Tenderloin and used the Bread Garlic Butter that would have made the combination palatable but this just wasn't. I really don't think they know what they are doing unless guessing or purposefully not being stellar is a goal? I don't know.....wait yes I do I eat food.

  I came in had a reservation for 7:00pm I made it here late they still let me in gave me a great table next to the live DJ I had a great waiter(Tommy) it's just a warm place something I don't know what to say it's something that I'm used to from home Oakland & Los Angeles so at the end of the day the restaurant is the best to me.

  My wife made a reservation here for my birthday. When we were seated there was a "Happy Birthday" plaque on the table, along with a card signed by the staff. I got the Dry Aged Ribeye and she had the Sliced Filet Mignon sandwich, we also had the Pancetta Brussels Sprouts and Crispy Rosemary Potatoes. Everything we had tasted great. Our server really took care of us as well, she even brought out surprise truffles with champagne for my birthday and printed a photo she took of us.

  I’ve visited flemings in Miami and completely fell in love with it…. But the Roseville, Ca location does not compare to the service or attention I received in Miami. I was quite disappointed with my visit. to begin the service felt subpar and there was no engagement from the server, I was sat down by the bar area in a booth and the clock started ticking… no menu no offer for a simple glass of water. When the waitress came around she finally asked if I wanted a drink and then it got awkward. I ordered an old fashion and well it was just that an old fashion. after being presented a menu I decided to order a NY steak medium rare and a side grilled asparagus along with some chimichurri sauce. as I sat there I already felt the lack of attention, then here comes my steak… my steak gets put in front of me along with a side of asparagus and all I have is a butter knife and a fork, I had to wave down another waiter to get me a steak knife, never have I had to waive down a waiter at a fine dining restaurant to get me a knife that felt awkward as I assumed a steak knife would accompany my steak. I’m already feeling uneasy about this experience. As custom I cut my steak in half just to see that it was OVERCOOKED! steak was cooked medium well. I call back my server and let her know that the steak is not medium rare and she proceeds to inspect the steak at the table in front of me and then says I’ll send it back. At this point I’m not really to happy about it as my asparagus is getting cold and I’m sitting there just wishing I was somewhere else other than there. 10 minutes later I get another NY steak and it’s cooked as requested medium rare. At this point I eat my steak and what’s left of my COLD grilled asparagus I ordered. I finish my drink and pay my tab. I felt cheated out of what I thought would be a great experience having already been to flemings in Miami where the service / food was top notch. I always spoke so highly of flemings and encouraged others to try them. 3/5 stars .
