Unfortunately, she wasn’t handling the heat very well, so I brought her home. On the drive back, I realized we needed more diapers for her. I hate bringing my dog into a store, but we really needed the diapers and she definitely couldn’t sit in a hot car. So I carried her into the store (she’s a little Frenchie) and went straight to the diaper aisle. With my hands clearly full, Jess noticed me right away and rushed over to help. She scanned the diapers, took my Safeway number, and streamlined everything to get me checked out quickly. But what really stood out was that she did it all with a genuine smile. Customer service has felt pretty rough since COVID, but it clearly didn’t affect Jess. She was incredibly efficient, kind, and honestly brightened my day.
