Too many impolite Karens working in the pharmacy. I have been using that pharmacy for 20 years. Now they have new people who will ask you the same personal information 3 times before they will hand your prescriptions to you. It’s super rude!

Parking kinda sucks here but they have the fuel station which is nice. The inside of the store isn't bad but it is always busy. Lines are long but the waits never too much. I usually use self checkout except there was an altercation the last time I went between two people which was highly obvious and tense and I don't know how the employee didn't notice since one of the gentlemen was very loud and even got her attention. Very uncomfortable and irritating to have someone yelling next to you as you try to finish your transaction.

I’m not one to write reviews, but this experience was not acceptable. I had a really uncomfortable experience at this Safeway tonight on Christmas Eve. Earlier in my visit, I asked an associate for help finding a specific type of wine. Later, during checkout, that same associate was bagging my items and made a comment about the wine I was purchasing saying “looks like you found the wine you wanted”. But I replied it wasn’t the correct one but this one will do.
He then pulled out the Plan B I was purchasing, he held it up, and made an inappropriate comment about it in front of other customers who were also waiting in a long checkout line. “Saying oh it looks like you found what you were really looking for too”.
This was embarrassing, invasive, and completely unprofessional. Personal and medical purchases should always be handled with discretion, not used for commentary or jokes. I left feeling humiliated rather than helped. Customer service training around privacy and respect is clearly needed.
