- BTBlughe Toco2 days ago1.0I was deeply disappointed with this store. I don't usually shop at this store because getting in and out of the parking lot is a nightmare, but I was in a hurry and it was the closest Safeway. I went through self checkout had all my groceries scanned and bagged with absolutely no contact from any employee, when I tried to pay the machine would not take my cash. I wait for someone to help the the rudest woman said the machine doesn't take cash and I need to go over to a regular line, She then pointed to a sign in such tiny print I couldn't read it. Fine I'm mad but fine. I walk over to the other checkout line. the single open register with a line halfway down the isle. Stand there for a while with no movement. I gave up and left the $50 worth of groceries I was going to purchase at the customer service desk and left. I will not be back to this location the Sierra College has much better service.

If you're a Safeway customer why do you have to have the ap for them to honor the sale items in the store. Am I the only one that doesn't think this makes good business sense. Why alienate a customer who is shopping in your store? You already know that I'm a customer. I wouldn't get the ap so I'll choose to either the pay the higher Safeway price [yeah right, in this economy] or go to the competition that has nsa pricing.
