  I felt out of place. I didn’t feel welcomed. I don't think I've ever walked into a Chipotle and have the employee just stare at me likenive got somethine on my face. Once I got the order going, the steak ran out and we had to wait for it. They asked me to pay first, no big deal. I could walk out after the steak is cooked. So I made my $75 purchase and continued to wait. The cashier made it more personable and welcoming. She was nice, talkative-- it was a genuine human interaction. The steak was ready, I watched others freshly in line get served the steak before they realized I'm still waiting for my order to finish up. I wasn't given the burritos, the girl snatched back the burrito and said I had to pay. I told her I already did, I was just waiting for the steak to cook. I even had my receipt and was about to show it when the checker told her I already paid. She was still adamant about handing over my expensive burritos. Again, back to feeling unwelcome at this location. After getting home and eaiting my rice bowl, I was wondering what was crunchy in my bowl— it was uncooked rice. I poked around and tried to break it with my fork and it slid around my bowl. I’m eating uncooked rice?!?!???!!!! HOW IS CHIPOTLE UNDERCOOKING RICE?!?!

  I ordered two burritos and two drinks. At the register, the cashier told me the total was $46-something. I gave him $47, and he gave me a few cents in change. At first, I didn’t pay much attention, but later I realized that $47 for two burritos with drinks was very expensive, so I checked the receipt. The receipt showed that my order was $36.31 and that I had given him $37 in cash. But in reality, I gave him $47. He gave me 69 cents in change, which means I was overcharged by $10. This was a very unpleasant situation. At first, I thought maybe I misheard the amount, and since it was noisy and children were distracting, perhaps he thought I was giving him a tip. But then I realized he did give me some change, so he couldn’t have thought it was a tip.
