- AMAngie MullDec 30, 20251.0Details. Details are everything. I walked in to the Rocklin Panera Bread at 5:50pm on Christmas Eve 2025. The door had a sign that they closed at 6pm. GOT It. We walked it, stepped two feet in the door, only to be greeted by Manager Mercedes which yelled across the front of the entrance with a big helping of attitude, "Just so you know, we will be closing in 10 minutes. Some of us would like to go home too" as she is walking away from the front counter. We never made it past the self service terminals. The look, the attitude, the absolute worst 15 seconds of customer service at one of my favorite restaurants. And, from a Manager. With other employees around watching her "exceptional example". We never said a word to her. I went to the restroom, asked her name and left. It is sad that I've written reviews to always praise individuals who go above and beyond in a tough and sometimes "thankless" environment, only to come across a "manager" who should definitely know better. I'm not going to go so far as to say I won't go back here, as I've read through the 676 Google reviews to see how many others had interactions with Manager Mercedes, but, I will be cautious the next time I visit and warn others to be aware of HER attitude!!! Not professional Mercedes, not professional at all!

He changed our order at the last second because I had figured out that I had ordered wrong and it was no big deal. He got exactly what we wanted. On our order. The food was hot and very tasty. And the girl that waited on us. Her name was Jaidin She was so great with all the customers and very friendly very helpful. It was a really really positive experience. And my husband and I enjoyed our Lunch so much.

Yesterday ai was pleasantly surprised by their service. ..3 employees Allison who took my order, Tracy who came to our table to clear the dishes and Mercedes in the kitchen who prepared and presented our food. All of these women made our group visit so memorable. Their concern for our satisfaction and commitment to excellent service will keep us coming back!!
