I grabbed ice cream and he told me I highly doubt you’re going to eat that right now so you might as well put it back. Then he asked me if I was done ordering and he said I think you ordered quite enough. He could have been trying to be funny but I didn’t like it. His wording could have been better like you can grab the ice cream when you’re done eating so it won’t melt or you will get full enjoy your meal. I only ordered 2 sandwiches a drink and ice cream for two people. I had the chicken pesto with peppers sandwich the chicken was not as good as times before. Some pieces were fatty or hard spots the quality was not all there. I enjoyed this spot but I don’t know if I’ll be back.

I would always tell my co-workers in the Bay Area if we can a break from work just to fly down here for the sandwich. I can not find any sandwich as good as the sub station in the Bay Area. The sub station regularly has promotions for students at UCR, which I love because not only you’re getting a delicious lunch, you’re also supporting a local family business. My go to sandwich is #11. Because I don’t know when is the next time I would come down to the UC Riverside area, I had to get the Big Dude, which is adding pepperoni to #11. I should’ve ordered a whole entire 12 inch for myself because normally I would eat half, but I was splitting it. It’s so good that I need another one. Will be back when I’m in the area again. Thank you for the most delicious sandwich in the world.

I was told come in your name is on the board for a free sandwich. Came in total different story They gave me 2 buck off my sandwich and was irritated about that and again it wasn't what i ordered they added tomato an extra mayo instead of light mayo with no tomatos I want be coming back to pay for a sandwich thats not made as ordered .

- KCKenny CampbellNov 7, 20255.0I’ve been going to the Sub Station since 1981!…they’ve been since 1972, that’s 53 years!!!…Richard Munio, the owner, is still “hands on” working with his crew on a daily basis!…Definitely the best sandwich shop in the Riverside / Canyon Crest area….Great sandwiches, Great prices and Great service.
