- CSCarmeloMichael SalaApr 4, 20261.0Update to my prior post- A few hours after posting my complaint about buying a frozen carton of eggs (Happy Eggs brand) from this Safeway, the store’s manager acknowledged my complaint,& responded that they will address this going forward, even though I was told something similar when I found that I had purchased eggs (Vital brand) that were also frozen months ago. As it’s only been about 4 hrs since finding, reporting, & getting an acknowledgement from management of my complaint, I figured I’d go by the store to see if they’ve pulled the remaining cartons they knew were, or were potentially frozen, as to not sell them to their customers. Unfortunately, they did not, and they left them out to be sold, knowing full well that those eggs were contaminated by being frozen. That being said, I highly recommend anyone reading this to avoid this store at all costs. They obviously could care less about the quality of the food they sell, or the health & wellbeing of their customers. This could not anymore obvious. This is beyond shameful!

I had complained to the store before when it happened the first time, and it’s happened. Never again will buy from this store. An employee inside even signaled through the window that the store was closed. If the hours changed, why wasn’t it updated? The phone system also still says it’s open. Please update your system.
