  Easy website to pre-order for pick-up. Very good food, presentation, cleanliness, and customer service. They always have ample parking that is well-lit for safety. Service is consistent and fast. We love this little restaurant.

  TLDR: Yanagi is a hidden gem consistently offering delicious take out sushi and teriyaki bowls at a great price. If you're intrigued enough for more details, read on. Over the past couple of years, restaurant prices have doubled throughout the South Bay; yet, the quality and/or portion sizes have either remained the same, or in some cases, diminished. While I have my favorite traditional sushi restaurant for date nights, Irori in Marina Del Rey, my bank account can't afford frequent $100+ dinners. Yanagi is a little hole in the wall offering take-out sushi dinners. There's no seating for dine-in and I have only picked up sushi in-person. I have not used delivery apps so I can't speak to delivery time or quality upon arrival. Their standard rolls and Nigri are solid, consistent, and cost less than $10 per roll while their special rolls average about $15 per roll. Their competitors' standard rolls average between $10-15 and special rolls average between $18-25. Yanagi's standout items would be their Baked Salmon Roll, Unagi Nigri, Spicy Rainbow roll, and their $10 chicken thigh teriyaki bowl. I also want to give a shout-out to Carla who consistently reads any special instructions. Thank you Carla! Overall, it's 5 stars for what it promises: a solid, reliable, reasonably priced sushi dinner that hits the spot every time.
