  We went for my husband's birthday and what an amazing decision to drive up to Redondo Beach for such an awesome experience! We started with Crab cakes, the most delicious ones we've had, Clam chowder with their fresh baked sourdough bread & Whipped butter. Next dinner, my hubby chose a seafood combination plate that was so tasty we shared, I had there cob salad with dices chicken it was so delicious right amount to share. We paired our dinners with Mai Tai...the best one we've ever had!!! Talk about a romantic dinner with views of the ocean and pier!! Next we went up stairs in their almost 360° view of the beach such a wonderful atmosphere, so relaxing! Tony's staff made our experience a success! Thank you guys so much!

  It was a beautiful day in Redondo Beach on 4/6/26, we decided to visit Tonys in the pier. We went upstairs to the bar area. Great views all around, I noticed lots of locals filter in around 3:30ish… bottled beer was $10.50 each🥴 if you love calamari don’t order it here ( rubbery and batter is dry) we also had the certified angus sliders which were so yummy! The french fries that come with the sliders are really good too, not salty or greasy just right👏🏼. The views never disappoint. There was one server for the bar, our order was taken in about 8-10 minutes after seating ourselves.

  The only reason this place is not getting a 1 star is because the waiter was excellent. If you want canned clammed chowder and frozen fish that tasted like it was out of a box then this is you place. Seriously I’m pretty sure my fried shrimp was out of a box. The fried cod was ok and the fried scallops were soggy with no flavor. The table ordered oyster Rockefeller and it was basically shells filled with spinach. It was horrible. Will not be back.

  Got seated next to the beach. Didn’t take much time at all. Wonderful views and atmosphere. Yet, I sat there with my lady for 20 min and no one even acknowledged us. Many waiters and servers walked by. No conversation or anything. Just gave us water and utensils and never came back. I have never been disrespected like that at a restaurant at a location of that caliber. Then when leaving no one even said a word. I heard great things about this place but the service alone is good enough for me to never come back and tell others how you’ll get better service at in n out on a Friday night after a football game.

  We so wanted to love this place. The service was friendly and fun, and the place is historic and in a great location. Unfortunately the food was simply bad. Bland soups, bland salads, overcooked seafood and a thin list of wines served too warm. In the end, it has that old school tourist trap feel. Come for a drink maybe and to experience some of the history of the pier. Save your daily calorie intake for someplace else.
