  Went to Kincaid’s at Redondo Beach and it was wonderful! Our server, Sylvara, gave excellent recommendations and service!! It was a beautiful sunny day and the food and drinks were delicious! We had calamari and crab dip. I also had a crab and avocado salad. It was fresh and refreshing with homemade dressing! So happy we came here! Just perfect.

  We come to Kincaid’s almost every Monday night. It isn’t just the food, which is always excellent, but our server LJ is simply spectacular! She is kind, patient, fun, and knowledgeable about food and preparation! She has become a good friend! I must also mention Ruby, the hostess. What a sweet and friendly young woman and incredibly efficient!

  Our family of three went there for my birthday dinner tonight and even left a note on the reservation mentioning it was a birthday and hoping for a nice table. Unfortunately, the experience ended up ruining our evening. We had visited before for anniversaries and birthdays and had good memories, which is why we chose to come back. However, things started off poorly when we were seated at a table that didn’t seem to take our reservation note into consideration at all, even though we had specifically asked for a nicer table. When we asked about it, we were told that all the nicer window-side tables had already been taken. Then the person taking our order couldn’t complete it and we had to start over with another server. The lobster and seafood trio were ok, but The calamari was dry, and there seemed to be more batter than actual calamari and the prime rib we ordered medium came out very overcooked and dry. Our waiter mentioned he was covering 12 tables and seemed overwhelmed, so the service was very slow. It also seemed like the restaurant might have been understaffed. Even though it was a Saturday dinner service, the dining room didn’t seem nearly as busy as it used to be. A manager in a white jacket was walking around the floor, but it wasn’t clear that anything was being managed. What made the experience especially disappointing was that two nearby tables were also celebrating birthdays and both received birthday desserts, while our table was not acknowledged at all. If the restaurant simply didn’t offer birthday desserts, that would have been fine. It wasn’t really about the dessert itself — it was the inconsistency in how customers were treated that felt unpleasant. Sadly, this visit was nothing like the good experiences we had here before. ———— March 10, 2026 Update: I don't understand why you keep pushing customers to a private feedback link. My review clearly shows the location, the exact time of my visit, and even photos of the dishes I ordered. If you truly wanted to improve, you could have addressed the issues based on this public information. Moving the conversation to a private channel just shows a lack of genuine intent to change. A sincere, public apology should have been the first step.

  Nice vibe inside, but even though I saw empty tables outside they said they were full for some party that never showed the whole time I was there. Bar service was attentive and good drinks for sure but the food day heavy and the shrimp were slightly over cooked but a great grill flavor...

  My family and I stopped in wanting to try the place for the food and atmosphere. When we got inside there was no wait, we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We chose outside for the amazing views. I ordered the lobster tail, my husband got the mahi mahi and gnocchi, and our daughter ordered the oven roasted chicken Dejon. It took a long while to get our food but we were able to enjoy the atmosphere. Our server was named Miguel Angel. He was not very attentive at all. It took long periods of time for him to come and take our order and serve us drinks. Miguel did not take any unused dishes from our table and they kept adding up so much that I had to remove them myself and set them on the sink counter that was located by where we were sitting. I saw our waiter whispering to another server or hostess and it was obvious that he was complaining about a customer. Really tacky. I later found out it was actually about the couple at the table next to us. I thought it was super rude that he wasn't worried about upsetting the guests. At the end of our meal we had told the waiter that the food was terribly bland and that it was subpar. Nothing was done to comp the meal but after how they treated the other couple next to us we were nervous to even complain because the scene they caused. I left a tip, and a note letting them know they could expect a review and that we should have just went to Mc Donald's. I would not recommend this restaurant if my life depended on it. Highly disappointed as well as the rest of my dinner party guests. Save your money and just eat takeout on the pier.
