The employees are always nice, but having two isles of the store locked up and making me wait 5 minutes for someone to come open the cases makes me not want to shop in the store at all. You need to figure out a different way to do your loss prevention. Also, the fact that you rarely have more than one or two registers open, no matter how long the lines are is very frustrating. Yesterday there were two registers open and each one had a line of about eight people. Between the fact that I couldn't get two of the items I wanted (laundry soap and hair shampoo) without waiting 10 minutes and the fact that the line to check out was at least 20 minutes. I left the store without making any purchases. Very frustrated and not wanting to shop at Vons or any of its chains again. If this is how you treat your customers and how you deal with customer service I will find another chain to shop at. As it is, I already do most of my shopping at Trader Joe's because of their excellent customer service and their lower prices. I don't even mind that their stores are much more crowded than yours because they always have lots of checkout registers open.
