I’ve ordered at various Wingstop locations over the past few years as I have Celiac (gluten makes me very ill), and Wingstop is often the only choice I have while on road .
They have a designated fryer for bone-in classic wings and fries, so I can usually enjoy their food safely. The chain’s food is usually consistent and worth the stop.
I’ve visited the Redding location a few times since they opened. I always enjoy their fries / loaded buffalo fries, however, the last 2 times the classic wings were overcooked and dry, unfortunately.
Thurs night, I called them to place an order. A male employee answered and I said, “hi, I’d like to place an order for pick up”, he immediately said, “hang on” and put me on hold. He was not friendly and sounded annoyed. It was 10:12 pm and they closed at 11, so it wasn’t last minute.
I have a cold and have been sick for over a week. I just wanted to pull up, grab my food, and get home.
Unfortunately, he never picked up the phone. I ended up driving to their location while still on hold.
As I walked in, I had been on hold for 15 minutes. I showed the active call to the guy at the front, he apologized and said it wasn’t him.
I didn’t wanna make a stink, because I don’t like to complain to people who are going to prepare my food, lol – it’s common sense .
The young man who helped me was very friendly and apologetic. I’m guessing the guy who put me on hold was the one working in the back.
They told me my order would take 15 minutes, which made me laugh… He understood the humor of it too, considering if they had just picked up the phone my food would be ready to go. I asked for a free drink while I wait, and he obliged, which was kind.
They didn’t have Wi-Fi in the store so I went to my car to wait.
I ordered the classic bone in chicken and the loaded buffalo ranch fries .
The fries were good, the chicken was overcooked and dry .
I will probably go back, because I don’t have a lot of options, but I’m hoping their service and quality improves.

I visited this Wingstop on a Sunday around 2:30 PM with my girlfriend, and unfortunately the experience left a very negative impression.
When I asked a question while ordering, the cashier responded politely and without issue. However, when my girlfriend (who is not white) asked her a question immediately afterward, the cashier paused, ignored my girlfriend at first, and only answered after she repeated herself; the response from the cashier was noticeably rude. Later, as we were eating in the dining area, we observed the cashier being friendly and even joking with white customers, while the interactions with minority customers were cold and dismissive.
On top of that, the food itself was inconsistent. My garlic parmesan boneless wings were fine, but my girlfriend's bone-in wings were overcooked and unpleasant.
As this was my very first stop at Wingstop, it was a very disappointing experience. In my opinion, the service we received was discriminatory, and the food was inconsistent. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location and will not be returning.

I was here with my husband to pick up a delivery order and the woman at the counter was very rude. She does not seem trained in customer service at all. The experience of picking up the order was very unpleasant.

Am I able to submit ideas to Wingstop for future consideration?
We at Wingstop Restaurants Inc. ("Wingstop") are proud that our fans are excited by our brand and want to share their ideas, innovations, flavors, and other wing-loving thoughts with us. However, Wingstop has a full-time staff of wing experts who we rely on to generate new ideas for our brand and our fans. Not that your ideas are unworthy, but you don't want to put the team out of a job. And our lawyers tell us that we need to avoid unsolicited ideas because we don't want to have any dispute as to ownership of those great ideas. Below is more legal mumbo jumbo explaining our policy.
UNSOLICITED IDEAS
Customers of Wingstop may have the perfect idea for a new concept, and we may be missing out on an exciting opportunity, but ownership and protection must be considered. Wingstop maintains a policy that does not permit it or its employees to accept any unsolicited ideas from outside sources (fans and other third parties).
Wingstop strives to innovate and create through internal business departments and their employees. With this in mind, if we create a new concept through our internal experts, and a talented customer/fan submits a substantially similar idea, determining who the originator of the wing-tastic idea is would be a challenge. To better protect ourselves as well as all of our fans out there, we must adhere to this strict policy which does not permit the review, consideration, or acceptance of such ideas from outside parties to avoid any confusion of ownership. Therefore, we encourage you not to send us unsolicited ideas.
TERMS GOVERNING SUBMISSIONS
If you nevertheless insist on sending us your unsolicited ideas, the following conditions apply:
Wingstop shall have no obligations concerning the submissions, including no obligation to review the submissions, return any materials, or acknowledge receipt of the submissions.
All submissions will be deleted from working files within Wingstop and no response will be delivered to confirm receipt of any submissions.
Due to archiving requirements, your email may be retained on our system, but please understand this is not an effort to keep record of our customers' great ideas; rather, it is incidental to archiving.
