What is especially concerning is that the transaction was completed by manually entering the credit card number, not by chip, swipe, or tap. This immediately raises serious questions about payment security and fraud prevention procedures. I cannot confirm whether any internal staff were involved, but if a card number was manually entered by an employee, what verification steps were taken to confirm the cardholder’s identity? Was there any identity or fraud check at all? The facts are simple: My credit card was compromised The unauthorized charge occurred at this store The card number was manually keyed in I have already reported the fraud to my credit card company, but I feel obligated to warn other customers: Be extremely cautious when using your credit card at this location. There appears to be a serious vulnerability in how card information is handled. Management should take this issue seriously and conduct a proper internal review, rather than dismissing it as an isolated incident.
