- MMM.O.3 “Marie” M.Aug 20, 20263.03-star experience at St-Hubert. The St-Hubert bowl was delicious, especially with the BBQ whiskey sauce, which added a nice, earthy flavor. The Texan chicken was a little overcooked, but the vegetables were really good. The “animalerie” was pretty much what you would expect. The restaurant was busy but not packed, so we were surprised to wait over 1 hour and 15 minutes for four plates—two kids’ meals and two adult meals. Our waitress was very nice and apologetic, and she explained that the kitchen staff was new on Sundays, which unfortunately showed. I had asked for grilled chicken breast in my St-Hubert bowl, but received rotisserie chicken instead. Since it had already taken so long to get the first plates, I didn’t want to complain and make everyone wait even longer. By that point, the kids were tired and very hungry. They do have a small playroom, which is a nice idea, but it was packed with kids during our visit, and they were all fighting over the only working screen. Overall, the food was decent and our waitress was great, but the very long wait really affected the experience.

Quand je suis arrivée à destination et que j'ai ouvert le sac il n'y avait pas d'ustensiles alors que j'en avais fait la demande lors de la commande et les frites et le poulet croustillant du burger avaient été cuit dans de la vieille huile. Quelle déception ! Les frites étaient brunes et dures comme du carton, le poulet l'était tout autant et il était calciné par endroit. La situation et le temps ne me permettaient malheureusement pas de retourner au restaurant pour ajuster la commande. Je trouve ça déplorable que quelqu'un en cuisine ait trouvé ça acceptable à servir à un client.

Lors de notre première commande, le poulet piri-piri est arrivé sans la sauce piri-piri, pourtant essentielle au plat. Lorsque nous avons appelé pour demander qu’on nous apporte la sauce manquante, le service à la clientèle nous a répondu que ce n’était pas possible et nous a seulement offert un dessert gratuit sur une prochaine commande. Ce n’était pas une solution satisfaisante, d’autant plus que nous n’avions même pas commandé de dessert au départ. Nous avons tout de même décidé de leur donner une autre chance en commandant un « hot chicken ». Malheureusement, la commande était encore incomplète : il manquait les petits pois, un ingrédient incontournable de plat composé de quatre ingrédients. À force que ce genre d’erreur se répète, l’expérience devient très décevante, surtout compte tenu du prix que nous payons. Nous ne commanderons plus chez St-Hubert.
