This is my usual go to stop when I'm in Montreal, but tonight was not great. Food was decent, but not spectacular. To be clear, I've eaten here multiple times, and the food has been excellent, but I can't recommend the pulled pork sandwich. The only reason I give the food 4 stars is that they charge only $16 for a liter of beer, and the beer is excellent! Service... oh my god... asked to sit at the bar for a drink and a bit of food and they slapped me down at an unwiped place. I ordered food, they brought me the wrong order, and no problem there, they just brought the corrected item out and told me to keep the wrong item, but they didn't give me cutlery, napkins, condiments, NOTHING. Had to flag someone down for every little thing that should have just come out with the food! Even when I was done, and ready to pay, I had to flag someone down, and in the end, when I was done and wanted a container, I was ignored... sigh... this is a fun place worth generally good food and service, but I don't get to Montreal often, and I genuinely hope this was a one off, and not a change in quality over all.

Emballage très souvent mal fait, vous recevez à la maison vos frites noyées. Ils oublient souvent de vous mettre la mayo et le ketchups que vous avez commandé et que vous payez cher. Bon appétit !

The hamburger and service were great! BUT, those famous fries? WAY too salty - like salt was literally falling off the fries - almost inedible!!
Very disappointing after such a great burger

Im sorry to leave a bad review but the fries in my poutine were way undercooked. The bacon cheeseburger was okay but the bun was soggy which I should have known would happen getting everything on my burger. For $40 it was disappointing.

Ordered a lettuce wrap because I'm gluten intolerant and can't eat bread. Got a regular burger with bread, which I therefore couldn't eat.
Come on, what's the point of specifying what you want, if you don't even follow the orders correctly. 20$ for a hamburger I can't eat, I'd say that's not really worth the money.
What is the Five Guys story/How did you guys get your name?
Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.
While our crew members do all they can to avoid it, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Please review our nutritional, ingredient and allergen chart for the most accurate information.
Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
Why is Five Guys switching from a fry cup to a fry bag?
We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment. The bags allow air to circulate better, so fries stay fresh during delivery and takeout. Same portions, same great fries – just smarter packaging that’s also better for the environment.
