    This is our Go to sandwiches 🥪 location, We've been coming to this location for 4 yrs now from Mira Mesa & Poway at the beginning problems with the Staff & how they made sandwiches but could attribute the problems to owner Mark or Dan not knowing what was going on at this location, such as running out of product, knowledgeable staff, relayed these issues, they seemed to have corrected. They make the best sandwiches 🥪 of the ones I partake in & I've been to approximately 15 in the S.D. area, the one on Clairemont Mesa Blvd across from Emergency Hospital also Excellent but something else going on there, need to keep an eye 👁 on this location

    This Subway has really gone downhill the past few months. The lady that’s in their most of time now is down right rude, unprofessional and just nasty attitude. Her name is something like Nermus. It was hard to read her tag and when I asked she refused to tell me. She doesn’t greet u when u come in even when u greet her. She seems so angry all the time and just rushes to get u out and won’t serve u if u ask for a customized sandwich. U have to stick to menu and ingredients or you are not getting served. We will go to Jersey Mikes across street or another Subway location but not returning here until staff improves.

    Asked for the BOGO footlong deal with the App/ ClubSub- he says, No. You have to order online to get that. Spent $31 on 2 / 12” turkey, provolone and avocado sandwiches to eat at the beach. I watched him add 4 of the tiniest slices of avocado to each sandwich. The bread was white and I usually love it. It was hard and tasted old. Such a disappointment of a sandwich. This is the second time I’ve had a bad experience at this Subway. Sandwich tased terrible. /;

    3-4-2026 @4:05pm we walked in, the lady behind counter saw us (made eye contact) but didn't say a word and kept cleaning off counter w back to us. We waited a good two minutes before she turned around and came over to put gloves on. I said, "oh you are new to us". She didn't say anything. I repeated myself and included hi and she said, "what do you want" very rudely! I told her my daughter orders her sandwich a special way and started to tell her how to do it. She refused. She said no that is not how it's done. I said, yes it is as this is how we always get it 3x month for several years now. Boy I sure miss the old employees. Several times she said no I will not do that!. That is not how we do it. She didn't even try to listen to me nor did she care. I told my daughter I am sorry we can't get sandwiches today as this lady won't make them for us and we need to leave. The lady threw the gloves off and made this rude mumbling noise and we left. My daughter is special needs and loves going to subway to order her sandwich for me to blend it for her at home for her dinner or lunch next day. She was so excited to go, but left very disappointed, it breaks my heart. There are only a few things she likes to eat by mouth and this is one of them. There is only one person left at Subway that knows us, knows how my daughter gets it and has no issues with us ordering it this way. We have gone in a few times with new people working there, no problem, just today with this rude lady that should not be working there refused to let us order the way we always do.
