- PCPhyllis CalhounApr 18, 20261.0I bought 2 spicy salmon onigiri from this Safeway and got halfway home and decided to eat one. It tasted horrible like something had gone bad in the filling so l called customer service and told Byron, who answered, what had happened. I didn't get, oh, I'm sorry, go ahead. And bring it back. No, what I got was, we make that daily. It's really sad that he felt the need to make excuses instead of listening to someone making them aware of a spoiled product they are selling to customers. And its too bad somebody didn't taste that filling before putting it out for someone to buy. I went to the safeway in Walnut Creek and bought the same onigiri and it tasted great as it should. Maybe this Safeway should take some lessons from the lovely guy at the Walnut Creek location as he takes pride in putting out a fresh and tasty product.

There was one person in line ordering hot food, and waited for about 10 minutes before I was told the "sandwich bar" was closed because the worker was by herself. I came back 10 minutes later and no one was in line for anything. She informed me that she couldn't do it because she was cooking in the back. She followed that with attitude as if she was mad she was by herself. I just wanted a sandwich. She also told me that she decided the deli was closed, not her manager. Pretty disappointed in this simple request, wont be going back to this Location
