  First of, there was no line or structure of where the line started because it was wrapped inside the store. It was unorganized and chaotic because multiple people were able to or had cut the line because no one knew where it started. I was in line by 2:50 pm and didn’t order and pay for my food and someone else’s food until 3:45 pm because people (20+ students) kept us cutting in the line. The staff at chipotle didn’t handle the volume well nor did anything to fix or manage the chaos. After waiting in line for almost an hour, I realized chipotle overcharged me for both mine and a strangers order after going back home, so then I had to drive back to the same location as I was told over the phone it would be resolved. I spoke to one of the managers there supposedly, and she wasn’t helpful with the situation and overall terrible experience today for the BOGO promotion. She responded that maybe the charge would correct on its own and was related to the card company. I explained to her that I went to Trader Joe’s after and showed the receipt, and my card was charged the same amount so the issue was on their end. It’s not a coincidence that both transactions to chipotle were overcharged by dollars, not cents, and the only solution given was to let it resolve on its own and that she’ll relay the message to the manager. This has been the worse experience I had with chipotle in Pinole, and I’ve been to this location over 10 years since I was in high school. Back then, things were more organized where if there were too many people inside the store, there would be a line outside. Complaints were made and shared, and there was no solution from the staff, manager or store to address the two inconveniences I dealt with today. I ended up having to throw away my food because it got spoiled in the car since I had to go back again and try to resolve this issue. What a waste of my time and money (paid $15.88 and charged $19.06 for my order).
