  Ordered two meals and a side via Uber Eats - food arrived room temp to cool, which ok, can be expected with delivery. BUT the food was so bad - my meal had no flavour, carrots looked like they were from a bag of frozen pea/carrot/corn mix, had a chalky texture throughout - not edible. DO NOT EAT HERE especially since all the other 1 star reviews state similar issues. Bc we ordered late in the evening the night before, I kept what food remainded and presented it to the location the following morning, asking for a refund. They stated there was no manager to talk to, one staff told me we'd have to get a refund through Uber Eats (which was declined), and that they (Thai Express) would not refund me either, even though it is their product! We eat at Thai Express (another Province) often and know they serve high quality dishes, comparable to any sit-down restaurant. Their product was truley disgusting and they don't care at all that they are selling subpar food, despite being pricey for a single takeout meal ($20). I emailed Thai Express general website and am still waiting a response. Poor food, poor service. Edit: I have already submitted and am waiting to hear back. Edit 2: after a little back and forth from head office (I assume - a higher up anyway), they have notified the franchisee owner, etc about the issue and have reimbursed us the entirety of our meal. Very much appreciated. We will be using the giftcard in NS where we have never had issues with food quality.

  Food was disgusting. They wouldn’t offer a refund…I wish I would have noticed the other terrible reviews about this restaurant before we ordered here. I would have stayed away and recommend you do the same.

  I stay away from giving bad reviews. Will typically skip reviews if the food or service was bad but in this case I will make an exception. There was nothing wrong with service. The kids working there were sweet and sincere. The food on the other hand was a problem. It was a sorry excuse for Thai food. There is no flavor and I don’t think the kids preparing it had any idea. The fact that none of them had tasted the food they prepare explained it. I am writing this is with the hope that this restaurant will do something about the taste of the food they serve.
