  I have been a Jimmy John’s customer since they had a store on S. Lake, but it closed a while back. I haven’t been to another Jimmy John’s location since none have been conveniently nearby. However, I’ve remained subscribed to their newsletter as a rewards member. Recently, I received an email about their new menu item—gyros. Today, while I was in the Old Town Pasadena area and thinking about getting lunch, I passed by Jimmy John’s and remembered the promo for their new item. I decided to stop in and give it a try. I ordered online and got the Greek gyro. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, with only one or two customers inside. I waited about 10 minutes for my order and noticed that the place was quite clean. The gyro was okay, but nothing to brag about. I was glad I got it at a promotional price. I still prefer gyros from a Mediterranean or Greek restaurant. All in all, it’s a decent option for an easy sandwich.

  Incorrect hours posted. I wasted $5 on parking to order 2 sandwiches really quick. Google Maps says they close at 9pm but I walked up at 7:10 and the doors were locked. I called and they said the franchise chooses its own hours and they can’t change the Google Maps posting. Thanks for wasting my $5 sounds like the franchise owner needs to figure out how to reconcile this with corporate. Will not be visiting this location again.

  We saw the ad for the Pickle Sandwich. Pickle with Roast Beef is FIRE!!! No Restroom to wash your hands though.

  Had the little John ! Amazing bread , amazing sub and amazing service !
