- NLNy LgJan 19, 20263.0This store also isn't as prepared as they used to be in the mornings. I think maybe they aren't having employees come in as early to prep. It's not as convenient to do morning runs (8am) anymore because I just end up having to come back later when things are ready. They have hired some new staff for the deli. (However, the meat department is still understaffed.) They are friendly and try to be helpful but they clearly aren't experienced, which is fine and please have patience with them. This store also does drive up grocery shopping but it's almost not worth it most of the time because it takes so long for them to bring your order out. They take ONE order out at a time instead of multiple when many cars are waiting. It's not efficient or convenient as like Walmart or Target. Sometimes it would be faster if you went in yourself and bought it. I also wish that they would bring back their fresh asiago filone loaves. It was the best bread they had for making sandwiches. Their other loaves are too heavy. Fresh bread is what made me go to Vons multiple times a week. Now I can just go to the Neighborhood Market Walmart for cheaper groceries. TIP: This Vons has the best beef cuts in the area. Steaks, stew meat, ox tail, ribs... really meaty and fresh.
