Apparently the bar is low for all those “four star” reviews. Had high hopes but they were quickly dashed when the grid owner/host greeted us with a pedestrian bon soir. Maybe this is why the wait staff and bus man alike seem basically miserable.
Frogs legs were fine served with 4 dinky slices of baguette. When we asked for a few more slices of bread, a upcharge. Then they try to swindle you out of a $10 up charge to share a meal. When we differed with the waiter, they got indignant and went to the (obviously) Belgian owner. She came back an he obviously told the waiter they would have to pay it for miscommunication of the sharing charge. I can’t recall going any restaurant where the owner treated you like you should feel lucky to be eating in his mediocre establishment.
The Moroccan entree with cous cous and merguez lamb sausage were fairly bland.
I think most of the patrician PS crowd deserve better.

We were there for a nice dinner and to spend a little money. The glass of wine tasted a little off. The owner told the waitress to tell us “too bad.” He wouldn’t talk to us himself. We went across the street to the steak house which is always good. Never again…

A beloved favorite of locals! This is my go to for date night and cherished guests who really appreciate excellent food. The menu is extensive and I’ve only scratched the surface of what I’ve tried because I keep going back for my favorites. One of the many stand outs is the stuffed (with dates?) pork chop that must of been available as a special one night because I’m not seeing it in the menu now. A friend ordered it and it was comically massive. We had it as leftovers the next day and it was still incredible. The beer selection is huge and I’ve been working my way through all the ones I’ve never seen anywhere else before. Just go and go often!

Came here last night for dinner and had a fantastic time. The service was great and the atmosphere was very laid back and fun. We were out during the market which added to the fun I believe. We had the goat cheese and beet salad which was amazing. The hanger steak and I had the special which was the Couscous Royale. Needless to say it was very good. I highly recommend!
