  Beware of Thieves! I thought wow, what great seafood place! And the owner walks by the tables to see how satisfied the customers are. I found my Best seafood place in Palm Desert, Yay! Then it happened… On my second visit I order up front at the counter and I pay $62.00 dollars for myself and my friend with a glass of wine too, not bad. I leave a $10 dollar tip inside the shared tip jar. Then, my friend wants to sit inside the bar area because it was a bit windy outside. We then decide let’s order some ceviche as an appetizer from a lady server with mid length black hair taking orders, inside the bar. it was delicious! The bill comes and it is $21.96 and I leave an $8 tip in cash because I felt the $10 was not enough at the front counter. So, I leave about a 22% tip for 62 + 21.96 =$83.96. And I don’t know about any of you, but I hardly ever get a receipt because we do everything online these days. Flash forward a few days and I’m checking my Bankcard statement and my ceviche was charged for: $26.96… Now, it’s not the money but the dishonesty of adding $5 dollars more to the bill. I called the restaurant and gave the last 4 numbers of my card and the manager said, please give me a few hours because it was over a 3 day weekend and it was pretty busy. The manager calls me back and said, oh yes, it was the $5 tip you left on the card. I said excuse me, but I left cash and no one can put any extra charge(s) without my approval, that is stealing! Can you imagine how many people she has done this to?! And the manager says, we have never had this problem before… I said, of course not because some people may not complain over $5 but, how about, we apologize and it will never happen again!! Oh no, they will NEVER admit their guilt! And what nerve that this server thinks she can just steal!! They returned the $26.96 which is not what I wanted… Beware of the lady server with mid length black hair and check your bills.

  i'm so glad we have a restaurant like this in the area so many options of fish I can't wait to try more I had the card it was so great and the soup was so authentic.

  Overpriced. Avoid the Halibut its bland. The cod was abetter option on the fish and chips. Service was great.

  Had the grilled jumbo scallops with coleslaw and rice pilaf…..everything was really well done. The slaw struck that perfect balance (not too vinegary, not too creamy), scallops were cooked just right, and the rice was evenly done. Started with oysters and fresh horseradish, which set the tone. Honestly, everything we had was delicious.

  Amazing staff. I was out in that area and looking for a spot to eat. Hubby and I loved it but most importantly the staff was so friendly and kind. I also left my purse behind because I was so distracted at how good the food was, salmon was amazing. Needles to say they held on to my purse it until I went back to the restaurant to get it. Thank you guys!!
