I had good impression about Mastro’s having been to Beverly Hills, Costa Mesa and Vegas joints before. But that was long time ago and things must have changed. Definitely prices and quality of food do not match anymore. I am not against to pay premium for a prime steak. But steaks we had were not prime at all not even mediocre I would classify. They were difficult to cut and chew. Cooking was not correct. We ordered medium and medium rare but both steaks were cooked at same level, medium I suppose, maybe which also contributed to my dislike of the steak. The sides that would be part of the order in other restaurants, did not taste anything special although they were quite costly for what they were so we did not finish the mushroom. The service was good though.

Staff and dining were perfect, food and bit overrated. My ribeye was good but not great. Ordered medium rare and it was medium plus. Easy to do, flavor was average. The seafood tower was impressive and the shrimp and oysters were delicious.

We celebrated my birthday and our 21st wedding anniversary. The staff was amazing as well as the food! There was even a follow-up call to ask about our experience.

Not worth the $200/person we paid.
Over priced wine
Steak undercooked, raw (wife liked hers)
Nothing for special occasion
Charged $5 for bread
We just had an amazing dinner (somewhere else) with a great steak for half the price of this place. It reminded me how much worse mastro's was. I will say that the ingredients mastros uses are tip top. The prep, and service bring down those great ingredients.
We go to the mastros in Scottsdale and that restaurant is great. This one, sad and overpriced.
