So I headed over, which took all of 5 min. As I walked up to the service counter a lady was busy behind the counter on her phone and counting money or something of that sort. I stood and waited for at least ten minutes while she continued talking on her cell, completely ignoring me. Eventually the “4th manager” walked up to the register across from the service desk and so I asked him if he could check out my recycling. First he said he didn’t know if they actually accepted recycling. When I told him that I had just spoken to someone to actually said yes that they did, he said he didn’t know how to do it, maybe she (the lady still in her phone) did. So I waited some more, and when the lady asked for that 4th manager’s help he walked over and asked her if she knew how to do the recycling, she declined. When I said that it can surely not be that hard, he replied that he was never trained at it and turned away. Taking in CRVs does not require a degree in rocket science. The values are written in the bottles and cans, so all one has to do is sum them up. Done. It’s not only that they didn’t know “how to do it”, but the fact that they just couldn’t care less with the one lady not even bothering to stop her private phone conversation for 3 seconds to acknowledge my presence or the “4th manager” to even try or at the very least apologize. I certainly will spend my money at this store.
