Running errands and usually go to the Mexican place on the same street. Owner here was nice. Ordered empanada. They were $8.95 when they came out it was 4 tiny pieces. I know he s a small business so I didn’t return it. He should have pictures or specified . Not going to repeat. Actually had to go home and make lunch. Staying with the Mexican place from now on. Mr. Owner ; I would like to clarify with all respect,; I was on an errand and stopped by to get something quick. It’s not about being on a budget. I assure you sir, I can easily purchase the building your business is in and be your landlord. Usually when a stranger walks into a restaurant the owner or employee lets them know if there are any specials etc. I think you are man of common sense. Why would you think 4 tiny empanadas would be ordered by a grown man unless it was an appetizer? And maybe he was with his wife perhaps. That’s just common sense. I as Imentioned to you am not familiar with the menu etc. Perhaps sir, it would have been okay for you to say ‘I must inform you they are nothing but a tiny appetizer or a snack’. Then I, a dumb guy like me would understand. Or on your menu list it as an appetizer instead of deserving it like something more in volume . You seemed like a guy that had a lot of life experience so I made the mistake of assuming it was more than it was. Did I expect a full course meal? No of course not. Nor did I expect it o be so tiny. Your waiter saw I was surprised and asked if I ordered the dish. I should have been honest and asked to return it. As I mentioned prior, you are a small business and under Ca with all its taxes and fees, I am sure it is not easy on your livelihood. However on the same note you need to assist your customers when it s obvious they are unaware of what they may be ordering.. That sir is my complaint. Not you, not your nice restaurant nor your food or what tiny little I tried. I thought of ordering more food but made the decision to elsewhere.

We all had different prawn dishes and all were amazing. The sangria and salsa were amazing too. What a lucky find! We will be returning!

I had the Lomo Saltado was disappointed with this dish because it was overwhelmingly salty and lacked depth. It tasted like it relied too heavily on regular soy sauce without balancing it with acidity or fresher ingredients. A more traditional approach would use low-sodium soy, a touch of vinegar to cut the salt, proper garlic and pepper flavor, and vegetables that still have texture. Instead, everything was buried under a salty sauce, losing the brightness and balance that this dish should have.
