Fantastic, healthy, "fast" food.
Not many NON spicy choices, but good, nonetheless!

What is going on here...
This place has the potential to be the new Chipotle. Yet, they are already cutting corners and have glaring quality issues.
Flavor in my loaded hybrid bowl was great. The chicken was my favorite. It tasted more seasoned than Chipotle. Chipotle usually has a bolder grilled Flavor. The red hummus and eggplant were also highlights. The spicy green sauce is my favorite. Pretty much all their sauces are better than the Chipotle sauces.
The super greens and arugula bases are just off. Some pieces of lettuce were as big as my fork while most of the super green were tiny shreds. Some of the super greens were not fresh and just pieces of the stem.
By far the worse thing was the rice. It tasted stale. Second time I had a bowl, the rice was equally as bad.
Now for the ultimate fail, the small portions make it feel like a scam. The amount of chicken was about half of a Chipotle scoop. The amount of red hummus was enough for one mouthful. Sauces on the side are only filled to half; two sauce sides not enough for a bowl.
It felt like I was given half a bowl, but had to pay full price.
Fix the few quality and portion problems so people can enjoy your great flavors. You have to. You are located between a Panda Express, Chipotle, and In N Out. What were you thinking...

I left highly impressed after trying the Spicy Chicken + Avocado curated pita. All the ingredients mixed together came to be the best blend for the chef inspired pita bread. The Dessert style chips were a miss and needed some work though.

The first time I came here it was so good. Huge chunks of lamb meat in my bowl...today it was like I was at a different place. I recommend not coming here during lunch when they are busy. Today I got lamb juice and some really stringing meat...they tried to explain to me this is what their lamb looks like until I explained that this was not my first time here and that I've been here before... too lazy to just say they are all out of lamb right now apparently and when I wanted to change my order I got attitude : (

My worst ever experience at a Cava. I never leave reviews, but I had such an unpleasant time here that I felt I must warn people. I came in at 7:30 PM on a Thursday. It was clear they had just finished a dinner rush and were stressed, which I understand. I have worked in food service before so I know how stressful it can be especially with a relatively new location. The workers were not kind at all, and were out of almost everything which again, I understand but every time I asked for something they acted like it was my fault that they were out of it. They told me it would be an 8 minute wait for hot honey chicken but it was I waited 20 minutes. At this point over 25 minutes had passed and there was nothing in my bowl except for rice. Finally, when my bowl was finally done the girl just pushed it at me and seemed annoyed that I was paying cash and not card. She didn’t even tell me to have a good night or anything. After I told her to have a good night she just stared at me. I went to a Cava in Burbank a few months ago and had to wait a little while for them to finish making the cinnamon pita. The employee thanked me for my patience and gave me some extra pitas. I’m not saying I expect free things just for waiting, but the way they handled it was so rude and unkind. I don’t think I will be going back to this location.
