- CCCHV3 days ago5.0This review is solely based on their milkshakes. Five Guys offers thick, delicious shakes, and the reasonable price includes choices of great add ins and whipped cream. Their peanut butter shake with extra peanut butter, Reese’s cups and whipped cream was pure decadence. My companion had a chocolate shake with Reese’s cups, and was rolling their eyes into the back of their head while enjoying theirs. SO much better than most of the other fast food shakes. There’s a large container of unshelled peanuts available for you to help yourself to while waiting. Staff were super friendly, it was shortly after 11 am and we were shocked by how many burger and fry orders were rolling out the door that early on a weekday. Definitely need to check out their food menu next time! While it is a walk up counter where you place your food order, there’s seating available for you to eat in.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
