- KTKim TJul 8, 20261.0Went to 5 Guys tonight. Ordered. Then when I was looking for a table, despite only one being occupied by another guest, I couldn’t find a clean one. I went to ask one of the 4 people behind the counter if I could have some paper towel, I was told that someone would come clean it for us. After waiting several minutes someone came out and with a wet paper towel and half heartedly ‘wiped’ a couple tables and then immediately started wiping chairs with the same paper towel. Then he came to wipe the table we were waiting to have cleaned and he just kept going. I said “excuse me, you just wiped chairs that people’s butts sit on and then you wiped the table that people eat their food on.” He walked away and came back with a new paper towel and water on it (no chemicals in sight) and started wiping THE CHAIRS AT THE TABLE WE WERE WAITING FOR. I politely said “that’s not what needs to be redone. The table should be cleaned again”. He told me I was wrong, but decided to go get another paper towel while he smirked at me and spoke another language to his coworker. They both started laughing at me and then I was called over to the counter. I approached the woman that was just laughing at me and said “yes?” She then proceeds to tell me that we owe her more money. She didn’t charge me enough initially. I paid the extra $12… and decided to eat in the car with my family. Because it’s cleaner there. Yuck!! These places need to do better. Hygiene and cleanliness are important.

The restaurant reminded me of Johnny Rockets. Not a huge fan of the prices of the burgers though. One of probably very few places that I’d actually eat inside. Whenever they put out good coupons or deals I’ll definitely be back.
