Been a big fan of chipotle, been to don mills/lawrence, STC, markville, hwy7&woodbine.
This chain unfortunately is prob the worst one. Even reviews state order in person for better portions -this isn't true. Been here about 6 times and even when you ask for more "lettuce or vegetables" they give an underwhelming portion compared to the other locations.
Orderered guac and chips and the guac had one giant half of an avacado that wasn't even mashed.
When ordering for our bowls their vegetables ran out and they didnt replenish and they just offer to fill what was missing.
Quality and quantity is just not consistent compared to the other locations. Unfortunately, just dissappointed.
Paid $35 for two burritos that were basically 90% rice. There was barely any meat inside—definitely not enough for the price. On top of that, the rice had a very strange, unpleasant smell/aftertaste from some odd spice they used.
It’s way too expensive for a "rice wrap." If you're looking for a filling meal with actual protein, skip this place. 5/10 at best only because the staff was decent.

I felt compelled to write a review, before I have even eaten the food. The restaurant was a mess, the floors, table tops and stools were filthy with fallen food, spilled drinks and discarded napkins. Given the amount of people on staff, to not have someone dedicated to clean up the dining area is disappointing. I didn't intend to dine in, but observed the conditions while I waited
Let me start by saying - I LOVE CHIPOTLE and was really excited when one opened up in Whitby! However, this is my third time now and alongwith the issue of smaller portion sizes in online deliveries (and substantially longer wait time for pick-up of online orders - where they actually forgot to prepare my order after confirming for 45 mins they’re on it) - Went in again today, to order in person and am extremely disappointed - the staff is just very very rude and untrained, who’s also not fully aware of their vegetarian / vegan offerings. Very unpleasant experience overall, not what I would like for a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon!

Very disappointing experience at Chipotle.
I ordered a burrito for dinner, but what I received was nowhere close to how a burrito should be made. A burrito is supposed to be wrapped properly like a thick wrap, not shaped into a round football. The staff member tried to overstuff it so much that the tortilla tore apart. She then asked if she could double-wrap it, which I refused, so she started again with a new tortilla.
By the time it was remade, the burrito was cold and shaped like a big ball. I honestly didn’t even know where to start eating from. I asked if it could be grilled or warmed up again because of all the delays and changes, but that request was refused.
The spicy chicken was also very disappointing—dry, overly oily, and not enjoyable at all. I was extremely hungry, and usually hunger makes food taste better, but even then I could barely eat half before throwing the rest away.
Overall, the food quality and preparation were very poor. Definitely not the experience I expected from Chipotle. I would avoid this location.
