The Welland Swiss Chalet was absolutely filthy. And I’m not just talking about the dining area—the bathrooms were disgusting. The condition of the surfaces was completely unacceptable for a restaurant. How hard is it to have someone properly clean the bathrooms at least once a day, including the toilets, sinks, counters, floors, doors and other surfaces people are touching? This isn't asking for perfection. It's asking for basic cleanliness and hygiene. We actually like Swiss Chalet. The food is good and the prices are reasonable, which makes this even more disappointing. But after seeing the condition of this location, we will be avoiding the Welland Swiss Chalet from now on. A restaurant doesn't have to be fancy, but it absolutely should be clean. The Welland location needs to take a serious look at its cleaning standards.

Just because it's not eat in or for pickup but is for delivery - no cause to sent out chicken at its last dry and chewy crispy and the buns, honestly, rock hard and could not be opened or split open. called Welland location 3 times - no answer - to busy at 7:30 on a Saturday night. I'll drop in tomorrow and see what they have to say.

This location is lucky to have an employee as charismatic as that. On top of it, the food was delicious and brought out quickly by our lovely server, Katie! She was an absolute sweetheart. The only complaint I have is that the green beans are no longer on the menu. Bring back the green beans!!
