Our family went here for Mother’s Day, and we made a reservation for 7:45pm. We didn’t get seated until 8pm. We then didn’t see our server until 8:26pm. Many tables were very upset with the delay in food and being served. A manager had come out to speak with a table and she left the server to deal with the backlash from the family instead of sticking around like a manager should. This same poor server slipped on a water puddle that sat there the entire time we were there without anyone mopping it up, just a caution sign not even on the puddle but behind it. We didn’t get our food until just after 9pm. The servers were visibly frustrated with management and some were on the brink of tears. For a location this big there needs to be more FOH and BOH managers on shift. ESPECIALLY for a day where you know there is going to be a high volume of customers. I feel so bad for the staff that were being held responsible for dealing with table complaints when that should have been dealt with by the manager.
Had reservations for 5:45 on May 10th Mother's day, I understand they were busy, we were seated right away waiter took our drink order then came back and took our food orders gave us our bread soup and salad. Then the waiter came to our table and told us that the kitchen had ran out of shrimp 2 of us had ordered shrimp Linguine so we had to order something else. In total we waited 2 hours for our food the manager gave us two meals for free and the meals being the cheapest on the menu of course.and there were 2 children that were so hungry. Worst service I have ever had I will never go back there. My biggest regret was not walking out earlier, I honestly think they forgot about us or the waiter forgot to put the order in. Either way never again will I go there. Having reservations at 5:45 pm until 8: 45 pm is just not acceptable . We watched as people around us came at and left while we were still sitting waiting for our food.

We had a reservation for 12 people (6 adults and 6 children) at East Side Mario's for Mother’s Day at 7:00 PM. Earlier in the day we received a call asking us to push our reservation to 7:30 PM. Slightly inconvenient, but understandable on a busy holiday.
We were seated on time, but things quickly went downhill. About 10 minutes passed before our waitress took drink orders, and another 15 minutes before the drinks arrived — after we had to ask about them. Our food order was then taken, and eventually bread and salads arrived. Nothing complicated was ordered; everything was directly from the menu.
After waiting 45 minutes, we asked about the food and were told it would be “coming soon.” Another 15 minutes later, we were again told they were “just waiting on one order.” Unfortunately, the food still never came.
At one point, a different waitress brought pizza to our table in takeout boxes — despite nobody requesting takeout. By then, we had been waiting nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes without receiving our meals.
I asked to speak with the manager, who apologized and explained they were busy and he had been helping in the kitchen. Meanwhile, we watched multiple tables seated after us get served, eat, pay, and leave — some twice over — before we received any food at all.
Eventually, another manager came over and again promised the food would arrive “as soon as possible,” but by that point we had completely lost confidence and decided to leave. At the front desk, I explained we didn’t want to walk out without paying for anything we had received. Her response was, “I’d be embarrassed to charge you for drinks.”
Honestly, after waiting nearly two hours with no meals brought to the table, she should have been embarrassed that a restaurant could not get food out to a family reservation on Mother’s Day at all.
The entire experience was incredibly disappointing. Delays can happen, especially on holidays, but communication, organization, and service were severely lacking. To make matters worse, after leaving hungry with 6 tired children, we ended up having to go through a drive-thru on the way home just to feed everyone. Not exactly the Mother’s Day dinner experience we had planned but the fries were hot and arrived fast!!

I never had this happen before. Reservation for 4 at 7pm. Didn't get a seat until 7:30. I get that it's mothers day, it's busy. Ordered our food at 7:40pm. This is where it all goes downhill. Food shows up at 9:05pm for everyone except me. Nobody comes over for 10 to 15 min after that. When they finally do they ask us if everything is alright. I said no where is my food. They said they ran out of the food I ordered (shrimp pasta). Then they go into the whole thing about how there was poor communication between the chef and server. They are being very apologetic. They said I can have some free desert or I can order something else. I didn't yell or get snippy. I said no. If it took an 1 hour and 30 mins to get our food why would I wait another hour or so. Not to mention 2 tables that were seated after us were served their food before us. No tip obviously. I just wasted 2 hours and that's all they offered. I was very disappointed. Not going there anymore.

Absolutely terrible experience. We came in as a group of 11 people (including 6 children)at 7:30 PM (after our reservation was changed from 7pm) and waited over 30 minutes just to receive our drinks. After that, everything continued to go downhill.
By 9:30 PM we still had not received our food, so we spoke with the manager. He basically just nodded and offered no solutions, only saying that they were “busy.” That explanation doesn’t cut it, especially when we watched three other tables get seated, served their meals, pay, and leave in the time we hadn’t even seen one meal come out for our table.
After complaining to the manager, they started bringing out our food cold and in takeout containers, even though no one asked for it to be packed up. At that point, we all got up to leave because we were done waiting. Then staff actually begged us to stay and wait for the food so we could pay, even though the entire experience was unacceptable.
We finally decided McDonald’s would be a better option so our kids could at least eat before school the next day. Our kids were exhausted, hungry, and now were up way too late because of this mess. (Some of our family was driving 45 minutes to get home)
Our waitress was kind and started crying, but the overall service and management were completely disorganized and unacceptable. This was supposed to be a special Mother’s Day dinner, and instead it turned into the worst Mother’s Day I’ve ever had. None of the 4 mothers that were there got to eat.
We will not be returning.
