- SSsamantha sage1 day ago1.0My husband and I recently took our daughter here while visiting family in Ontario. We only went to this location because it was a place my husband and I used to go to for ice cream when we were younger and lived in Waterloo. To say that we were disappointed by our experience is an understatement. We were served by an older gentleman who seemed very nice, but I feel he should have refused us service as it appears the machine was down. The ice cream we received was VERY watery. My husband ordered an Oreo blizzard, that hardly had any cookie chunks in it, and the server didn’t even flip the cup…. My daughter ordered a cone, and we had to get a cup because it was just a messy pile on top ( it appears the gentleman doesn’t know how to make a proper DQ cone) and I ordered a Sunday, which was very lopsided. None of us were able to fully eat our items and they started to melt pretty quickly, as if the ice cream was not cold enough prior to serving. It’s safe to say that next time we are in Ontario we will not be returning ( if it’s still existing).
